Stencil material:

All our stencils are made from 125 micron (5mil) thick grade one polyester film. There is the option of ordering any design in 250 micron (10mil) thick film which is 20% more expensive, please contact us for details of this thicker version.

Stencil sizes:

In most cases, the size listed refers to the cut out area of the stencil and we have tried to illustrate exactly which area is cut out on your chosen design. The exception to this is when there has to be a sheet size listed. Height is always listed first, width second. Although the illustrations may show designs looking quite uniform in size, especially in the cases of borders, this is merely a graphic device to aid readability. Please double check the sizes. In many cases we can do custom sizes. Please contact us to enquire about contact sizes or clarification of any detail of the stencil design

Layered or Multiple Part Stencils:

Most of our stencils are single layer designs whereby the colour changes are effected through one stencil. If we feel either the designer or the customer would benefit from having more than one overlay for colour separation or more than one part for ease of use, we have provided it. They are simple to use and registration guides are given to match up parts or layers. We tell you how many layers or parts a stencil has in the information box about any stencil

Stencil photos:

In many cases, we have a photograph showing a stencil used in a roomset to help with inspiration and to give you an idea of scale. To see the photo, just click on the camera icon adjacent to the stencil design. The photo will open in a separate window.

Stencil prices:

We are based in the UK. Prices of stencils and stencilling accessories are available in GBP (Pounds sterling), USD (US dollars) or EUR (Euros) for your convenience with the option for using the currency converter for other currencies. You will be charged in GBP pounds sterling and your credit card company will conver to your currency on your statement. Conversion charges are at the discretion of your credit card issuer and we are not responsible for these nor do we know what they may be (if any are levied).

Site security and payment:

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. We also accept Maestro, Visa, Debit, Debit Mastercard, Electron, Solo and Delta debit cards. Please note, we cannot accept Maestro cards from our continental European customers at present. Our site uses the latest 128-bit encryption service and is secure. We also accept payment by Paypal.

Guarantee:

When used with reasonable care and by following the instructions provided, your stencil should last the duration of an average project. If for any reason you should damage your stencil during use, regardless of how it happened, return it to The Stencil Library and we will pay 50% towards the cost of a replacement stencil (must be the identical stencil). This guarantee can only be used with our own brand stencils. Statutory rights apply.

Returns:

Because all our stencils are made to order and are made especially for you, we cannot accept returns for exchange or refund unless faulty and then your statutory rights apply. In order to avoid disappointment, please check your order and sizes of your stencils when ordering. Once you submit your order, we will give you a 24 hour grace period before processing the order and payment so that you may contact us with any questions or cancel altogether without being charged.

All Stencil Library stencils are designed in-house and are protected by copyright. The copying of any stencils is strictly prohibited. Should you wish to purchase stencils to apply to items that you sell, please contact us to discuss. The use of any photos or designs for use on blogs can be done with our permission as long as there is a link to our site and we are clearly mentioned as the source of this material.
