Tours of The Stencilled Home - price £9.00
Stocksfield Hall is the home of three artists. Their decorative styles are diverse but
they all use stencils as their main source of creativity.
Walls, floors, furniture & fabrics have all been transformed with paint and imagination.
Fourteen of the hall's rooms are open for viewing
during the tour. The techniques used in each room are explained in situ and questions
are welcomed. The tour breaks for refreshments, and various stencilling methods will be
demonstrated and discussed. The demo and tour last for approximately two and a half hours.
The shop will remain open for you to browse, purchase or gather more inspiration.
Redecoration of rooms is frequent and there is usually something new to see. The Tours are
a great source of inspiration for all things stencilled.

Stencilling Day 1 Price £69.00
This class lasts from 10am to 5pm. It starts with the basics of stencilling and builds to
encompass professional techniques. The emphasis is on practical work with demonstration
& discussion. Stencilling on different surfaces with various media will be covered.
The class includes lunch and a tour of The Stencilled Home. Students take home approximately
£30.00 worth of supplies used during the day. The aim of this course is to give a taste
of various aspects of stencilling. Please wear warm clothing and bring overalls.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 persons and Tours to a maximum of 30 persons. The Stencil
Library reserve the right to withdraw courses and tours.
Full payment is required with your booking and confirmation will be sent upon receipt.
Payment by phone using debit & credit cards or PayPal. By post, a cheque made payable
to The Stencil Library at the address below. Stencil Library gift vouchers may be used
as payment for classes and tours. All prices are in pounds sterling. In the event of customer
cancellation, no money will be refunded unless 16 days notice is given.
